Hello!
I’m Manjima, and my journey as a clinical counsellor has deeply influenced how I engage with the world: through a trauma-informed and culturally competent lens. Grounded in family systems and anti-oppressive frameworks, I navigate my practice with values of humility, openness, and non-violent communication.
I find fulfillment in working with children, youth, and their parents, together or individually, as well as couples and families. I also enjoy leading workshops and developing resources on topics such as mental health, relationships, and parenting.
I am committed to the transformative power of knowledge-sharing in guiding us through life’s stages and transitions with greater ease and connection.
I have over 5 years of experience in the healthcare field and investigated the topic of ‘Burnout in Healthcare: Revisited through a Family Systems Framework’ for my graduate thesis. Through this work, I developed a deep passion for understanding how organizations can better support their employees in managing the challenges of their roles, particularly in helping professions such as within the healthcare system, and the impacts of first-hand and vicarious trauma.
My mission is to support and empower those I serve to overcome systemic barriers, while recognizing that I operate within systems myself.

Hi, I’m Kelsey. Prior to completing my Master’s in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University, I trained as a yoga instructor, reiki practitioner, and completed a Master’s in Cognitive Psychology specializing in language and concept learning. I consider myself a lifelong practicing student of mindfulness, and a writer who enjoys poetry.
I believe that everyone deals with emotions in a different way. This is why I approach therapy through a multiple access point lens. Meaning our thoughts, emotions and body sensations can provide us with all kinds of information and we learn in our own ways.
Life can get messy, but unweaving the knots doesn’t have to be something you do alone. I understand that it can take time to process these experiences and I’d like to flow at the speed that feels right for you. By incorporating various mindfulness skills, we will work together to unweave these knots that can occur in life.
I completed my training in trauma-focused approaches and draw from Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Narrative therapy, and Somatic-based practices. It is my aim that you feel heard, seen, and understood in this space. We can come from different experiences, but compassion can be present and this is something that is felt.
If you are interested in therapy and consider this to be an approach that fits for you, I will be here to connect with you.
